Meten Schools
Meten schools offer a modern and professional environment and are equipped with state of the art equipment. Classes range in size and include one on one lessons with students.
The age of students ranges from teen to adult and students are motivated and eager to learn.
Meten offers a variety of locations, across 70 cities in China! Salary bonuses are also available for Tier 2 or 3 cities on top of the monthly salary. These cities are a good fit for teachers wanting to earn a higher salary, while enjoying a lower cost of living.
Qualifications
To qualify, candidates must meet the following requirements:

Be a Native English Speaker from the USA, Canada, UK, Ireland, Australia or New Zealand

Hold a Bachelor degree or higher (in any discipline)

TEFL/TESOL/CELTA certificate or 2 years related teaching experience is a plus

Due to visa requirements candidates must be below 60 years of age

Compensation
* Meten offers a competitive renumeration package, including:

Monthly Salary of 13,000 - 18,000 RMB

Schedule

Meten teachers typically teach a maximum of 20 hours per week, plus 10 office hours (for prep. work, training, helping students, etc).

Teachers work weekends, as well as 3 days during the week.

Teachers alternate between working a morning or afternoon shift, as assigned by the manager. Shifts are either 9:00am - 5:00pm or 1:00pm - 9:00 pm. An hour lunch break is included as well.
Vacation Policy

All Meten teachers will have all Chinese National Holidays (12 days) off with pay.

1 week of paid vacation time during the first 6 months and 1 week fully paid vacation time during the last 6 months.
