Travelling to a new country, you want to know that you will be able to find some of the things that you value most, including a place of worship. Whether you be Christian, Catholic, Buddhist, Muslim, or a faith of a different sort you should be able to find like-minded people in Korea.
Of the Korean population, there are many Buddhists and Christians, along with those who have beliefs rooted in traditional folk religion (Shamanism). Churches are easy to find and while many are Korean speaking (naturally), some also offer an additional English Service. There are a few that also offer services in other languages as well.
Finding and becoming a part of a church body can be a very rewarding experience. This is one thing you'll want to look for as you settle into your new life in Korea.
For those of the Muslim faith, there are mosques scattered throughout the major cities in Korea including Seoul, Pusan as well as a few others.
* We are hoping to develop this page a bit more with more specific information about different places of worship.
